While Genshin Impact has something for everyone, beginners and veterans alike may feel a little out of sorts during the game. For some players, it can be particularly difficult to get past the daily routine of the game when there are no major events taking place. That’s why we’ve put together a list of 10 things you can do to make your stay in Teyvat last longer.
If you need more ideas on how to spend your time at Genshin Impact, check out the Battle Pass game and try to complete as many as possible. For those who want to spend the extra $5 to upgrade the Gnostic Hymnal. All the rewards you get are almost tripled!
If you haven’t already, you should make a habit of visiting the events page regularly. Events usually offer more rewards than regular quests, so prioritize them before they disappear. This includes passing all character tests! This can be a good change to try out characters you may not have yet, especially since the test versions of characters usually have perfect stats.
Genshin Impact contains a lot of hidden information if you’re not actively looking for it. Many of these hidden objects are in the form of books that can be bought or found anywhere in Teiwat. You can read all these stories, diary entries and more in the archives.
Apart from the captions, the archives also contain many interesting pieces. One of those things is the Living Creatures magazine. Every time you discover a new enemy or species, a description will be added. You can also find the number of kills for each enemy type by looking for a small tombstone icon with a number next to it. See which enemy you seem to have more than another!
You can also open the dialog box for past tasks or reductions in the trip log archive. Other archival journals : Geography (brief descriptions of important places in Teyvat), materials, equipment, textbooks!
Since Genshin Impact relies heavily on daily cycles and limited resources, be sure to take full advantage of the daily/weekly content in the game. Here is a short list of the most important daily activities:
- Perform the 4 daily commissions
- Collect all rewards from the expedition and send your characters for more information.
- Mine crystal ore and collect artifacts in the wild (check out our guides on how to best mine crystal ore and artifacts!)
- Use as much of the original resin as you can (or convert it to condensed resin for storage another day).
- Visit all the stores/vendors you need.
With the number of achievements in Genshin Impact, there’s almost no reason to stop playing. In addition to the achievements listed in the Achievements menu, there are many more hidden achievements!
We’ll even give you a hint now….. Have you ever fed all four members of your group? If not, now is the time! Take the time to go through all the accomplishments and see if you want to spend time on them.
There is no doubt that Tejwat is a very beautiful and picturesque fantasy world. Use the camera gadget or the official camera in the game menu to take awesome (or stupid) pictures during the game. Try to change the location or time with the game’s clock feature. If you use the camera function, you can also change your character’s expression or pose!
The Adventurer’s Handbook is a useful tool that brings together much of the day-to-day content of Genshin Impact in one place. The Experience tab contains a number of objectives to complete, as well as a list of all available areas, missions and enemies. If you’re feeling even more adventurous, try to find all the enemies with Navigate in the Adventurer’s Guide.
After reaching the age of 25. The adventure grade unlocks the reputation system. You can improve your reputation in Moon City and Liyue by completing a series of weekly tasks. These tasks include: Bounties, quests, world assignments and exploration progress (read our exploration progress guide if you need help). Bonuses and requests are a great way to earn extra mora, and they reset every Monday, so make sure you’ve done them all by Sunday night!
Through a whirling gate in the air above Cape Eide, you can reach the spiral canyon. Spiral Abyss is an easy to forget activity that can only be completed by reaching the 20th level. If you haven’t taken the time to go upstairs yet, we encourage you to do so. The rewards are generous, just make sure you bring your best team(s) and make plans for the future.
This dungeon is not for the faint of heart, especially if you have the 5th level. where you need two strong teams, not just one. To succeed in Spiral Abyss, you’ll need to pay attention to your team composition, get to know the minions/destroyers on each floor, and keep the levels of all your characters up (not just a few).
Quests are the best way to go on an adventure and increase your adventure score, which will give you rewards. These rewards include level material (to upgrade characters and weapons), prizes (to spend on desires), and fragile resin (which recomposes 60 original resin so you can challenge more domains or bosses).
In addition to increasing your adventure rank, you will often encounter new or hidden areas with puzzles or treasure chests that will definitely take you longer to complete.
We also want to remind you not to neglect your Hangouts. Unfortunately, this is easy to do because you have to navigate through several menus to get there. The nice thing about Hangout events is that you can always go back and play the same quests, or go straight to the main decision points to see if you can get a different ending than last time.
Whether you want to brag about your achievements or your characters, Genshin Impact lets you create a profile that other players can view. You can choose your username and character avatar, write a short bio and include up to 8 characters and nine name tags in your profile. But to do this, you have to have the character or name.
Our latest offering comes just in time for spring cleaning (at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere). Due to the large size of the game inventory, displaying your items may not be a priority. However, you will be amazed at how much more knowledge and experience you can gain simply by reducing your inventory. It’s a good idea to keep track of what items you own so you can choose the best artifacts and weapons for your characters.
Knowing what’s in your inventory will also help you decide which items to pick up as you explore. Taking the time to do this now will ensure that you don’t run out of things you may need later.
One final comment: If you have the Parametric Transformer in your inventory, you should use this gadget once every seven days to convert your surplus into Mora and Ascension materials!
