12 Anime Characters That Could Beat Gon –

The world of anime has produced some of the most popular characters in the history of entertainment. These characters have grown to be so popular that they are often considered as “franchises” themselves. However, many anime fans are still left wondering who would win in a fight between these 12 anime characters?

The anime characters like gon is a list of 12 anime characters that could beat Gon from popular anime series, Hunter x Hunter.

We’re going to look at Gon and see which anime characters could get the green out of his hair in this piece.

And I’m sure this list will generate some heated debates in either direction, but there are a lot of excellent things to explore here.

Plus, to make things interesting, I’m going to exclude obvious OP options like Saitama or Goku, so things are about to heat up.

Let’s go!

12. Asta

Black Clover is a Japanese anime series.

Okay, we’re going to need some head-cannon for this one.

Asta’s ability to use anti-magic is one of the first things we discover about him.

Sure, there are some apparent instances, like as when a spell is destroyed. But I believe it has the potential to completely demolish Gon’s nen.

With a single cut, Asta effectively shattered Dante’s endlessly healing demonic form and knocked him out of service.

As a result, I believe he could do the same with Gon’s ultimate form.

Even though Gon has some amazing base numbers, I believe Asta might take him if nen is removed from the equation.

Satoru Gojou (#11)

Satoru Gojou Jujutsu Kaisen anime screenshot

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series.

Gojou stomps anybody who depends on physical assaults, apart from being a deity in his own world.

When attacks get close to him, his unlimited ability causes them to slow down to a halt, allowing him to move about freely.

As a result, Gon would not be receiving any hits.

But what about speed and destructive force, for example?

We’ve seen Gojou sprint hundreds of meters (if we’re being kind) in the midst of a battle to capture his loyal pupil and force him to witness as he broke a special class curse.

As a result, speed should not be a concern.

Gojou is probably similar to Gon in terms of sheer destructive strength, since he can demolish whole mountains with a single ability.

As a result, it’ll only be a matter of time until Gon is crushed in this battle.

Meliodas is number ten.

Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins (Anime)

Even if we aren’t dealing with full-power Meliodas, I believe Gon has a little chance.

This is due to Gon’s reliance on very strong strikes with a lengthy wind-up time.

So, what do you think Meliodas will do when he sees a strong, predictable assault heading his way?

That’s right, he’s slamming that infant back into Gon’s face full-force.

Even in terms of physical strength, I believe Meliodas and Ban are about comparable, since Meliodas can demolish a whole fortress just by arm wrestling with Ban.

And, given Meliodas’ experience on the battlefield, I believe he would much outrank Gon in terms of combat tactics and techniques.

Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto Uzumaki) (Naruto U

Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto anime

Naruto is a Japanese anime series.

Even if we exclude Shippuden entirely, I believe Naruto has the upper hand.

This is due to Gon’s inability to keep up with the clone spam.

Naruto’s hundreds of clones would eventually tear through Gon’s defenses, despite the fact that he has some good AoE and his endurance is nothing to scoff at.

And, even if Gon wanted to go all out and utilize his adult form, Naruto could just as easily use his Nine Tail chakra and still win.

Because, in a real life-or-death situation, a completely angry Kurama can easily destroy an entire nation, while adult Gon is at best city level.

8. Akame

Akame in Akame ga Kill! anime

Akame ga Kill! is a Japanese anime.

This one is a little more contentious, but bear with me.

It primarily depends on Akame’s ability to blitz Gon, since we’ve seen him create afterimages long after time has stopped moving ahead.

While Gon is also a lightning quick fighter, I believe it’s a safe bet that Akame could blitz him if she went all out straight away.

All Akame would have to do from there is get a single cut on Gon.

And I don’t believe it’d be difficult to pull off, given that Gon’s skin doesn’t seem to be as tough as the typical shounen hero’s.

I believe a well-placed stab might penetrate the skin and apply the one-shot curse if tiny explosions are enough to rip his muscles apart.

Eren Yeager is number seven.

Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is a Japanese anime series.

This duel would be a test of endurance. And I don’t believe Gon would be able to keep up with the pace.

Eren may create several Titan bodies in the final season, all of which have the same punch as Gon.

And, given the size disparity, I doubt that even a fully charged Gon attack would be able to reach Eren’s main body – particularly when hardness is taken into consideration.

Although I suspect the battle would be very one-sided, I believe Gon could get through the first two rounds before being tossed 100 miles into the air like a football.

Rimuru Tempest is number six on the list.

That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime in Anime

I don’t believe that sheer strength will decide the winner in this fight, but rather the vast disparity in usefulness.

Gon’s armament is very straightforward, since he can only utilize nen to improve his attacks, defense, or perception.

Rimuru, on the other hand, has a plethora of distinct abilities, each with its own specific usefulness.

That wouldn’t signify anything on its own.

However, when we consider that Rimuru also has the Great Sage, an analytical voice capable of analyzing how to best destroy Gon, the tables begin to turn.

And, given that Rimuru is no pushover in real battle, with the capacity to kill an entire army in a single swoop and recover most of the damage done on them, I believe it’s just a matter of time until Rimuru devises the most effective plan for defeating Gon.

5. All-Powerful

All Might from My Hero Academia anime

My Hero Academia is an anime series based on the manga My Hero Academia.

If you ask me, this one is by far the most intriguing.

The fight is essentially two strong men hitting each other in the face.

So, why do I believe All Might will triumph?

There are two major reasons for this:

First, there’s the lack of experience. Even though Gon is no greenhorn when it comes to combat, he can’t compare against All Might, a seasoned superhero.

Second, I believe that All Might’s damage is easier to execute.

Both characters provide comparable results at the town level, but All Might doesn’t need any preparation time.

And, because we’re going with adult Gon as the combatant, it’s only right that we include prime-time All Might, who has said that all of his exploits in the anime are roughly half of what he might have done in his peak.

It’d be a tight call, but I believe All Might would win in the end, although with a lot of work and damage.

Whitebeard is number four.

Whitebeard in One Piece anime

One Piece is a popular anime series.

This fight, in my view, would not continue long.

While Gon has performed several impressive exploits, I still believe he falls short of Whitebeard’s peak.

Because, even at his advanced age, Whitebeard can shrug off hundreds of gunshot wounds while striking the air so violently that he creates a fricking tsunami.

Gon’s toughness is also remarkable, since he hardly flinched when his arm was ripped off.

However, the fact that he lost a limb while playing 1v1 demonstrates that his physical toughness isn’t as strong as his mental toughness.

Gon may be able to blitz Whitebeard and land a couple solid blows.

But I doubt he’ll ever be able to inflict enough damage on the king of the oceans, while Gon would be knocked out immediately by a full-power blow to the face.

Tatsumaki, No. 3

Tatsumaki One Punch Man anime screenshot

One Punch Man is a Japanese anime series.

To be honest, the only way Gon pulls a W in this scenario is if he gets to jump Tatsumaki when she is looking the other way.

Gon, on the other hand, would be destroyed in a true 1v1 battle.

He doesn’t know how to respond to Tatsumaki flying away and erecting barriers to block his long-range assault, while Tatsumaki can just dump an asteroid on Gon and be done with it.

Even if you exaggerated Gon’s speed and stated that he could easily avoid the meteor, Tatsumaki could still yeet him into space like it was nobody’s business.

On so many levels, telekinesis defeats hand-to-hand combatants.

2. Ban

Ban from The Seven Deadly Sins anime

The Seven Deadly Sins (Anime)

Let’s start with the usual Ban.

Regular Ban would easily defeat Gon because of his persistence.

You can’t truly outclass someone who is actually immortal, particularly if your body is stretched to the breaking point due to the nen covenant.

Furthermore, as the battle progressed, Ban was able to gradually drain Gon’s vitality, ultimately totally defeating him.

However, if we consider Ban in his prime, as he was at the conclusion of the manga, Gon’s position becomes much more terrible.

After all Ban has been through, I believe it is fair to assume that he would be oblivious to Gon’s assaults, much alone suffer any harm.

Ban would win this battle whether he was immortal or not.

1. Meruem

Meruem from Hunter x Hunter anime

Hunter x Hunter is a Japanese anime series.

I’d want to finish with this battle combination since I see people undervaluing Meruem much too frequently. Yes, Neferpitou said in the anime that an adult Gon might be a power comparable to Meruem.

But it doesn’t guarantee he’ll come out on top.

To begin with, Meruem possesses the mental capacity of a computer and could easily outsmart Gon.

Second, Meruem is a big, strong kid who could definitely withstand all of Gon’s assaults and still come out on top.

And, most importantly, even if you could figure out how prime Gon could defeat basic Meruem, it isn’t his best form.

Plus, if we’re talking about a super-powered Meruem, even the most ardent Gon fans have to admit that Gon would be handed his butt.

The gon vs neferpitou episode is a short anime that was made by the creator of the popular series, Hunter x Hunter. In this short, Gon and Neferpitou face off in a fight to see who will win.
