Call of Duty: Vanguard, the next Call of Duty game from Activision, has been unveiled. The next chapter in the famous shooter series, developed by Sledgehammer Games, will transport players to the second great conflict, WWII.

Many shooters have tried to profit on this famous period, but Call of Duty: Vanguard will aim to make things more intriguing with a compelling story that spans not one, not two, but four key theaters of war: North Africa, the Eastern Front, the Western Front, and the Pacific.

The narrative of Call of Duty: Vanguard will revolve on four playable characters who come from various sides such as the US Navy and the Red Army. They are as follows:

  • Private Lucas Riggs of the British Eighth Army’s 20th Battalion, Australian 9th Infantry Division.
  • Sergeant Arthur Kingsley of the British Army’s 9th Parachute Battalion.
  • Scouting Squadron Six, United States Navy Lieutenant Wade Jackson
  • Lieutenant Polina Petrova of the Red Army’s 138th Rifle Division.

Of course, a Call of Duty game would be incomplete without multiplayer. At launch, Call of Duty: Vanguard’s multiplayer component will have 20 new maps, 16 of which have been designed for “core gameplay.”

Gunsmith and Caliber, two new technologies from Sledgehammer, are said to take immersive and reactive surroundings to a new level, according to the developer. In addition, Treyarch has brought back the fan-favorite Zombies mode, which served as a prelude to Black Ops Cold War’s version.

On Friday, November 5, Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available on Battle.net for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A new anti-cheat mechanism will be included in the PC edition, ensuring a more balanced multiplayer experience.

Starting November 5, take a stand on all fronts: In this riveting campaign, learn about the beginnings of Special Forces. In this adrenaline-pumping online Multiplayer game, you’ll take on the role of a Special Forces Operator. Experience a Zombies crossover that expands the world. It includes complete integration with Warzone, as well as a brand-new map that will be released later this year.
