The AMD video card is packed nicely and arrives in a very sturdy and heavy box. It’s a straightforward and effective design. When you pull the video card out of the box, you’ll see that it’s identical to the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT in terms of size and weight. It features the same thick cooler as the RX 6800 XT, rather as the RX 6800’s thinner design. The whole video card is made of metal and feels quite solid in the palm. It’s supported by a die-cast aluminum shroud and expanded vapor chamber heatsink, as well as a die-cast aluminum frame. Only the rear of the GPU is visible due to the completely completed backplate. This means it won’t trap GPU heat underneath it, which is a great feature. It also ensures that the card is as thin as feasible.

The GPU is made of graphite thermal interface material. For GDDR6 and MOSFET cooling, it features high-performance ultra-soft gap pads. It features a 14-layer PCB with 4 layers of 2oz copper and high-efficiency power phases built of quality IT-170 material.
